Among many different ways of approaching, the tango has an intimate tradition between the bandoneon and the guitar. Inside this tradition, Pablo Mainetti and César Angeleri, renewed the repertoire every concert using the improvisation as an element of aesthetic conception, giving an unique and unrepeatable show every time, with a genuine sound of Buenos Aires, respecting the roots but introducing renovated winds guided by the bandoneon and the guitar.
In each soloist career, Mainetti and Angeleri have proved their knowledge of the deep roots of the tradition of the gender and at the same time a research to its evolution. Their two recordings, Complicidad and Un puñado de buenos tangos, are a gesture of trust and good taste between two of the most outstanding Argentine musicians. A delicate taste of “patio” goes all the way through the work.
